Hi, my name is Anna Logan and I’m a journalist with a passion for social justice. I’m currently a second year studying journalism at The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
When I’m not on campus, I can be found hanging around The Red & Black offices. I’ve been on staff at R&B for close to a year now. I work for the campus desk, but my true passion can be found in my beat: women and gender issues. I cover everything from distinguished female professors to rape culture to college women in ROTC.
I let my creative juices flow while working for The Odyssey, a digital first publication with more online monthly readers aged 18-24 than People, Rolling Stone, Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Sports Illustrated just to name a few. Working for them has taught me a lot about what content millennials like myself want to consume.
I’ve said since I was little that I wanted to change the world. That seems a little quixotic now, but I still hold that desire deep in my heart. My professional goals are centered around making a difference and shining a light on the social injustices in the world.
